Job Offer: Support Worker
We are currently looking for support workers to work with children and teenagers with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). Selected candidates will work at the day camp in Montreal, which will take place from March 3 to March 7, 2025, at École de l’Étincelle.
Job Description:
- Lead activities adapted to the participant’s learning level;
- Supervise daily activities (toileting, personal hygiene, dressing, etc.);
- Support the participant in experiencing various activities in a fun, autonomous, and interactive environment;
- Work on social integration;
- Complete the participant’s logbook;
- Attend team meetings and assist with daily tasks.
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with ASD or a related field (an asset)
- Strong sense of responsibility, organization, and initiative
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Bilingualism (an asset)
Salary / Schedule:
- $18.25/hour (based on experience)
- Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Hiring Period:
From January 27, 2025, to February 21, 2025.
