Carmen-Lahaie Walk For Autism 2024: a vibrant collective commitment
Saturday, April 27, 2024, will remain a memorable day: the Carmen-Lahaie Walk for Autism brought together hearts and minds around a noble cause, made possible through the generosity of dedicated partners and volunteers.
This day was marked by moments of joy and solidarity, fueled by the enchanting percussion of Zuruba Frakastou and the adorable plush toys provided by Éditions Milmo. The warm coffee from Starbucks Mont-Royal warmed our bodies while APL’s sound infrastructure and the support of the City of Montreal ensured the smooth running of the event.
Speeches from political representatives, including Minister Lionel Carmant and MPs Elisabeth Prass and Guillaume Cliche-Rivard, highlighted the importance of this march to raise awareness about autism.
Thanks to the participation of over 160 people, we sent a strong message of inclusion and support for the diversity of autism. We express our deep gratitude to all those who contributed to making this march possible.
Together, let us continue to raise awareness and celebrate the diversity of autism. Thank you all for your support and commitment to this cause that is so dear to us.
