Summer Respite Services – Services Available
Early Intervention:
- A shadow (1 to 1 ratio);
- Activities which foster the overall development of a young participant (up to five years old);
- Community integration;
- Intervention plans for each participant, developed with his/her parents and school or daycare;
- Training, supervision and support for the shadows.
Specialised:
- A shadow (1 to 1 ratio);
- Activities which foster the overall development of the participant;
- Community integration;
- Intervention plans for each participant, developed with his/her parents and school;
- Training, supervision and support for the shadows.
Socialisation:
- A shadow (1 to 2 ratio);
- Activities which foster the development of social skills;
- Community integration;
- Intervention plans for each participant, developed with his/her parents and school;
- Training, supervision and support for the shadows.
Teenagers / Young Adults:
- A shadow (1 or 2 campers per shadow depending on the need);
- Activities which foster the development of social skills;
- Community integration on a daily basis;
- Intervention plans for each young adult, developed with his/her parents, school or work/vocational setting;
- Training, supervision and support for the shadows.
Wasabi :
- A shadow (3 to 2 ration or 2 to 1 ratio);
- Individualised and adapted activities;
- Intervention plans for each participant developed with his/her parents, school or work/vocational setting.
- Close collaboration with the professionals working with the participants;
- Training, supervision and support for the shadows.
